Origin
Independent digital wallpaper project.
Based in Hokkaido, Japan.
Created by a technology enthusiast with a long-standing appreciation for design, photography, and thoughtfully crafted digital environments, the project began as a personal search for wallpapers that felt calm enough to live with every day.
Many of the images started as experiments made for personal use—backgrounds designed to support focus, atmosphere, and a quieter digital workspace. Over time, those experiments grew into a curated public collection built around the same idea: creating wallpapers that remain enjoyable long after the first impression fades.
Approach
Rather than chasing trends or visual excess, Mono Frame explores these qualities in every release. Each wallpaper reflects a preference for restraint, clarity, and the belief that the spaces we spend time in—physical or digital—deserve thoughtful design.
Goal
To create wallpapers that feel natural on the screens people return to every day.
Mono Frame is built slowly, curated carefully, and intended to remain useful long after trends move on.
